Coach Zack Doyen

Coach Doyen is non parent head coach, who started coaching in 2009 after playing four years of NCAA Division 3 hockey at Salem State University. At Salem State, coach Doyen was the recipient of the Vance "Salty" Smith award which is given to the athlete who spent the most time volunteering and giving back to the community . He was a member of the first state championship team at Orchard Lake St Mary's in 2005, while also being named all state that season. After playing, coach Doyen was an assistant coach for the OLSM Varsity team for 10 seasons alongside Brian Klanow where their teams earned two state final berths and five regional championships. Coach Doyen has served as the hockey director for the entire Orchard Lake Youth association for the past nine seasons.
