Orchard Lake Mini Mite (6U) Team Information

Birth Years 2017, 2018 & 2019

Minis will be skating two days a week, one week night and Sunday mornings at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s starting the first week of September 2023 through mid-March 2024. The Minis will again participate in the I-275 League with surrounding associations. The Association Fee is $250 paid at the time of registration. The season fees will be paid directly to the team throughout the season, due on the 15th of each month (September - January) $200 per month. All fees include jerseys and socks, ice time, and on ice power skating instruction. Early Bird Registration before August 1st save $50.

League Play: The Orchard Lake Mini-Mites are members of USA Hockey’s I-275 League. The Mini-Mites will participate in cross ice/half ice games that are played every Sunday.

Practice Format: The Mini-Mite team will have shared practices with the Mite team, focusing on station-based skill practices focusing on skating, stick handling, shooting and small area games following USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM). The practices will be run by Orchard Lake Hockey Director Zack Doyen.

Registration:

1. You must register for USA Hockey and enter the Player’s USA Hockey number during the registration process. Visit www.usahockey.com and register your player. Fees may apply based on the player’s birth year.
2. With your player’s USA Hockey number handy and click here to register with Orchard Lake Hockey Association.
   1. Association dues will be due at this time, and are separate from season dues.
   2. Association dues cover TeamSnap, jerseys, ref scheduling, Association Insurance, power skating, OLHA hockey Director and more…
   3. Multiple Player Discounts and Early Bird Registration Discounts will be automatically applied.
